Making the Ugly Pretty

So have you ever made a drawing or painting that you thought was horrible but you've kept it any way. This was a drawing I did 2 years ago. It's horrid, so last night I tried to convert it into something pretty. Although I didn't get it to look totally beautiful it looks alot better.

My husband gave me the Wacom Intuos3 4x5 Pen Tablet. It has been sitting on my desk for months. Last night he asked me if I was going to use it. So I took it to work with me to learn how to use it and this is what I did. I need alot of practice.
